Who should come: If you are an artist, support artists, like artists, wanna be an artist, think you know an artist, like art, wanna know more about art, like women, like women who are artists, you should come to this meeting.
Why: We have a great time! We talk about what we can do to help each other as artists.
Meetup Description: Join us for our bi-monthly meeting where we get together, plan activities, network and generally have a great time.
At this meeting we will be talking about our participation in the Imperial Beach Artwalk in September, finalize the plans for our annual retreat in Julian, coordinate and finalize plans for our exhibition at the Women's History Museum in San Diego which opens in October and runs through the end of November..

Women's Caucus for Art was founded in 1972, is a national, professional organization devoted to championing the contributions of women in the arts. During 1991, in San Diego, a small group of activist women artists and art historians founded a local chapter in order to inform the public regarding the role of women in the arts throughout history.
